    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

During Wallboard setup, we can obtain a link to share the wallboard without regard to other sharing settings.

Having such a link will allow us to show the board as part of an information radiator.

Many products, like Google Drive, have the capability to share a resource with anyone who has a specific link.

Ideally, the sharing link would be shown, and we'd be able to disable it.

            [JRACLOUD-68499] Wallboard public sharing link

Displaying it on a large screen within the office is also an ordeal, a more modifiable dashboard is required. the only way people can see it is by zooming in the web browser.

Not being able to display a wallboard computer kind of makes the dashboard (as a wallboard) feature useless. What about a token based approach like the API? I.e. share with a link.

Does the existence of this ticket mean, it is right now still not possible to show a Wallboard on a Screen without a user having to login and leave its credentials on a public device?

            Seriously?

Am I reading this right that it is not possible to create a public dashboard that can be used for a TV screen within the office?

I am able to share the public link of dashboard now but there is nothing visible on dashboard even if we give public access to the filter.

            Please help me out here.

I found this feature request from this community post.  However, reading the comments this does not seem to be legit in comparison to the community request.  Ideally, we would like to create reports from within Jira Service Desk / Management FOR CUSTOMER USE.  If this already exists elsewhere - please kick me in the proper direction to get this implemented.  Thanks!

Same as above: we want to open a link in a browser on a wall mounted TV. For displaying purposes, so the team can see active and new issues on our service management project.

We have been waiting 4 years for a simple feature, which any serious ITSM solution has. And so far nothing...

My use case was exactly the same, and had the same issues regarding credential storage and 2FA etc. I moved my projects out of Jira and over to GitHub in the end.

Same as Jean and Tom: we want to open a link in a Browser on a wall mounted TV. This is not interactive, just for displaying purposes, so people can immediately see new issues popping up over several projects. Our workaround right now would be to create a special read-only role for all our projects, and set up a dedicated user just for that. Obviously with a lot of hassle wrt 2 factor auth policies, credential storage and so on...
